Beach - New for 2023

President Lyndon B. Johnson notoriously pranked his advisors by barrelling his amphicar down a hill and into a lake while shouting that the brakes had failed. While the days of combining boats and cars into a single vehicle never quite took off, building for the beach serves an important chapter in the history of automobiles, and for good reason. Whether for leisure, sport, or important wartime chapters in between, adapting vehicles for the sands of time has its own installment in history; and South Florida’s pinnacle of automotive concours would not be complete without a glance back and a look forward at the vehicles devoted to a visit to the coast.
